Run Microsoft .NET Core SDK Online

Description

.NET Core is the modular and high performance implementation of .NET for creating web applications and services that run on Windows, Linux and Mac. It is open source and it can share the same code with .NET Framework and Xamarin apps. This repository contains the .NET Core Software Development Kit for creating and developing web applications and services.

Readme

Here's a short example that will show you how to create a Turbo container for .NET Core SDK and create a sample web application project:

# Start a .NET Core SDK Turbo container with passthrough to user folders
    turbo run microsoft/dotnetcore-sdk --isolate=merge-user
    
    # In the container, create a project folder
    > mkdir "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\SampleApplication"
    > pushd "%USERPROFILE%\Desktop\SampleApplication"

# Use .NET Core SDK to start a project
    > dotnet new mvc

# Restore the dependencies of the project
    > dotnet restore

# You can generate the default developer certificate by
    > dotnet dev-certs https

# Run the web project
    > dotnet run

# Once the server is up, you can access the website at http://localhost:5000
    start http://localhost:5000

# Build the project, so it can be deployed using the .NET Core Runtime
    > dotnet publish
